Synopsis<\/p>\n

Mike Abernathy is a mathematician that has developed a new form of space craft propulsion, hoping to drive a new era of space exploration. After the first test in space, things go horribly wrong. His project and the future of humankind is threatened. Now he finds himself forced to travel beyond the moon, farther than any human has traveled before in an attempt to fix the problem he caused. Really Great Topic!<\/span><\/p>\n

An unexpected storyline with an ending that leaves you wanting to know more. Dan develops characters and sets this book up very well. His writing style has a way of establishing vividly descriptive scenes that keep your attention without overdoing the details. Leaving Earth catches you right away and keeps you interested in the story with every page. Recommend this to anyone that enjoys stories about space travel in general and the endeavor for survival. Looking forward to seeing what happens next!<\/span><\/p>\n

Great Story!<\/span><\/p>\n

Dan Adam is a new author who’s first book is a winner! Realistic characters are developed with enough description so the reader really gets to know & care about them. Dialogues between them are comfortable & authentic. The entire book reads at a good pace, from the engaging opening pages and development of the story line, through the presentation of the terrifying catastrophe inadvertently set in motion by our hero, to the unusual ending. It will keep your interest & call you back after every break – you want to know what happens! The length is appropriate and the closure very satisfying. I have only one criticism – when is a publisher going to pick this author up??? I want a sequel!! I want other books!! Somebody get this guy an agent!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Fantastic story with a strongly described narrative!<\/span><\/p>\n

‘This story starts off lining up politics and public interest of today to draw a near identical comparison against how the book begins. From there it takes you on a ride of how space exploration might take off in the future. The technical side of the novel is neatly aligned against actual technology and by the mid-point, calls into question whether we should be delving into technology that we don’t fully understand. The whirlwind of a ride to rescue stranded astronauts and save the future of mankind keeps you reading more. The end of the book leaves you wanting more and looking forward to the next book in the sequel. I can’t wait for it to come out so I can find out what happens next!<\/span><\/p>\n
